Who We Are
We are a community church with a worldview whose purpose is to uphold biblical truth, not by abandoning the ancient principles of our fathers, but by expanding our boundaries to reach beyond traditional Pentecostalism with a message, a vision, and a burden to love the lost, to help the afflicted, and to minister to the marginalized. We strive and persevere in that same message of love, mercy, and forgiveness for a lonely world, not with an exclusive gospel, but an inclusive one, inviting all who will come. Come without criticism or condemnation, but called to a higher purpose and a sacred commitment to our Savior, Jesus Christ.
What We Believe
The Iglesia Pentecostal Libertad Divna is a church that aspires to become a 21st-century Apostolic Church. We are based on the belief that the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God.
We believe in the Great Commission and strive to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with love, mercy, and compassion.
We believe there is one God (Deuteronomy 6:4). He is the creator of heaven and earth, and of all living things. He has revealed himself to humanity as the Father (Creator), the Son (Savior), and the Holy Spirit (indwelling Spirit).
We believe in water baptism by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. Through baptism, we identify with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. (Romans 6:3-6; Colossians 2:11-14; Acts 2:38)
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial sign of speaking in other tongues. (Acts 2:4)
We believe in the manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. God ministers to His people through the gift of tongues, the interpretation of tongues, prophecy, words of knowledge and wisdom, discernment of spirits, faith, the working of miracles, and healing. (Mark 16:15-18; Acts 5:16; 2 Corinthians 12:1-11)
